Todd and I were both off work today for the holiday, and Sam’s daycare was open as usual. We actually had a nice, long, relaxing day together and didn’t have to watch the clock for our bedtime or worry about how much money we were spending on the babysitter. We had a nice lunch at one of our old favorite places in Soho, then saw the movie Crazy Heart. I also bought some fancy new sunglasses in anticipation of my lasek surgery coming up in a couple weeks. It was the best President’s Day ever!
